Once, a very poor man came to Buddha. He asked: - Why am I so poor?

Once, a very poor man came to Buddha. He asked:
- Why am I so poor?

Buddha answered:
- You are poor because you don’t practice generosity. You don’t practice charity.

- But how can I practice charity if I don’t have anything to give?

- You have five treasures that you can share with others.

First, you have your face. You can share your smiles with others, but you don’t do that.

Second, you have your eyes. You can look at others with eyes full of love and care, but you don’t do that.

Third, you have your mouth. With this mouth you can say nice things to others, but you don’t do that.

Then, you have a heart. With your loving heart you can wish happiness to others, but you don’t do that.

Last treasure that you possess is your body. With this body you can do many good things to others, but you don’t even do that. That is why you are poor.

A heart touching essay from a student

A teacher from Primary School asks her students to write a essay about what they would like God to do for them…

At the end of the day while marking the essays, she read one that made her very emotional.

Her husband, that had just walked in saw her crying and asked her: – What happened?

She answered – Read this. It’s one of my student’s essay:
Oh God, tonight I ask you something very special: Make me into a television.
I want to take its place. Live like the TV in my house. Have my own special place, And have my family around ME.
To be taken seriously when I talk…. I want to be the center of attention and be heard without interruptions or questions.

I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives when it is not working. Have the company of my dad when he arrives home from work, even when he is tired. And I want my mom to want me when she is sad and upset, instead of ignoring me… And… I want my brothers to fight to be with me…

I want to feel that family just leaves everything aside, every now and then, just to spend some time with me.
And last but not least make it that I can make them all happy and entertain them… Lord I don’t ask you for much… I just want to live like every TV
At that moment the husband said: – ‘My God, poor kid. What horrible parents!
She looked up at him and said: – ‘That essay is our son’s!!!

A good heart is bigger than anything .. Don’t pain for those who left you

A good heart is bigger than anything .. Don’t pain for those who left you

A poor boy named Karan was loving a rich girl(sheetal) and one day he proposed his girlfriend.

She said, You should find a girl as per your status, You can not take care of me , You can not take care my of my expenses -“Listen! your monthly income is just my daily expense. So, should I be involved with you? Do you think that I will? Never.
Forget me and marry someone else of your level.”

The boy could not forget her so easily…

The most powerful thing is time , that always changes….

After 5 years, one day they met in a shopping center.
Sheetal said, “Hello! Are you karan ? How are you?
Now I am married and do you know how much my husband earns per month?? He is getting Rs. 5 lac per month ..and he is very smart & caring…

by hearing those words Karan’s eyes got wet, tears started rolling down ….!

After few minutes the sheetal’s husband came… and before she could say something… he started saying… “Sir! Its Nice to see you here..? Meet my wife sheetal.”

Then he said to her,
“I am going to assist a project of sir, and do you know a thing? Sir… loved a girl and she rejected him. But, Sir loved her so much that he could not accept any other girl. See, !how much lucky… the girl was.? Nowadays who can love a person so much??”

Moral:

Life is not so short. So, don’t be so proud of yourself, your status or money. Everything changes with time even beauty, but not Love. So respect others feelings.
Love for someone’s Heart not their things .. A good heart is bigger than anything .. Don’t pain for those who left you .. The best revenge ever is success

Those with polished hearts can absorb infinity.

Two groups of artists quarrelled before a king as to whose artistic abilities were superior. Annoyed by their bickering the king decided to test them. He pointed to hilltop on which stood two houses.

Each group was given one house to decorate. The first group asked for a hundred colours... The second said they did't need any colours. After the first finished their work, they invited the sultan too the house..

The house was beautiful painted with every colour imaginable. The other group had used no colours. They had polished the walls of their house so brightly that the colours of the painted house were reflected on its walls.

MORAL-:Those with polished hearts can absorb infinity.
