A man went to a fruit shop. He
inspected different fruits and asked for their price. He bought
one kilogram of the costliest grapes. When he started
moving away the shopkeeper asked for the price. He replied
that he had no money. The shopkeeper reduced the price
and asked him to pay. He gave the same answer. The shopkeeper thrice reduced the price but the man gave the same reply that he had no money. At last the angry
shopkeeper asked, “If you have no money then why did you
take the costliest grapes.”
The man raised his head and
said, “Well gentleman, when there is the question of quality I
opt for the best.” He promised to pay the next month and
returned.
The next morning the same
man went to the best physician.He was examined there. When
he started moving away the doctor asked for the fee. The
man replied that he had no money. The humble doctor
reduced his fee by half and asked him to pay. With he
add own the man said that he had no money. The doctor was
puzzled. He asked, “If you have no money then why did you
come to the best and costliest doctor of the town?”
The man proudly raised his
head and said, “Well gentle man, when there is the question of
quality I opt for the best.” He promised to pay the next month
and moved away.
Moral
We need balance every
where, both in quality and quantity.
